Early Childhood Program
Discovery and learning for ages 3-5
Specially designed to help your child build the foundation for the future, our early learning programs focus on hands-on math, reading, science, arts and social skills all incorporated with lots of play.
We offer full and half-day preschool programs for children three and four years old. In these programs, we share with you a weekly overview of what your child will be working on so you get to be an active part of your child’s education.
Saint Jerome School admits children on a space-available basis. Our three year old class is limited to 15 students and our four year old class is limited to 20. Both classes are staffed by a teacher and a teacher’s assistant.
For Ages 3-4
Our specially designed program for three year olds embraces their natural curiosity and helps set the educational foundation for your child. Saint Jerome preschool students learn through a center-based program that is inclusive of physical, cognitive, social-emotional and language areas for the development of the whole child. Communication and collaboration with the family prepares the child to succeed.
Through Reggio Emilia provocations, daily prayer, and open-ended activities, the children explore their environment and embark on their journey to become lifelong learners. From learning numbers and letters to working on creative art projects using technology and lots of indoor and outdoor play, your child is in an environment developed to encourage growth and readiness for all of the wonderful school years to come. We even begin Spanish vocabulary at this young age!

Unique to Saint Jerome School
The Saint Jerome Buddy Program connects our early childhood students with our older students and is a favorite among all of our students. Given our smaller class sizes, we work to have our students build relationships all can learn from and enjoy! From attending Mass and lunch together to playing and creating art projects or reading new books, the Buddy Program is a winner every year.
