What to Know About Registration

Academic achievement is only a small part of a student’s life. Preparing children for life requires a strong foundation, and at Saint Jerome School, that includes a commitment to academic excellence, putting faith at the center, and engaging in community service as a way to combine faith with learning. The school’s focus on developing the whole child physically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually, reflects on its promise to form good students and good citizens.

Current Student Registration

Current families are the reason for our success and stability. Our school remains strong because of your commitment to superior Catholic education. Since 2015, Saint Jerome School has averaged a 90% retention rate for its current student body.

New Student Registration

Saint Jerome School admits students on a rolling admissions policy. If space is available, applications for the 2020-2021 academic year will be accepted all year long. To schedule an interview or tour, call Mrs. Sue Hannan at 781-335-1235 or email her at

A limited amount of financial aid is available. In order to be eligible for funds through the Catholic Schools Foundation or local assistance, a family must be enrolled in the FACTS Tuition Management Plan. Financial aid applications are now being accepted by filling out the forms on the  FACTS website. Registration Requirements

Admissions applications must include:

  • Completed enrollment application

  • Signed registration form with a registration fee for each child

  • A completed FACTS online account for tuition payment and financial aid consideration

  • Current physical exam report with immunization record

  • Birth certificate and a baptismal certificate (if Catholic)


For children entering grades Kindergarten through 8

  • A copy of the child’s last report card or progress report

  • An academic assessment administered by SJS classroom teacher


To enter our K0 (3-year old) program, a child must be 3 years old before September 1.

To enter our K1 (Pre-Kindergarten) program, a child must be 4 years old before September 1.

To enter our K2 (Kindergarten) program, a child must be 5 years old before September 1.

Extended Day Program

Our Extended Day Program hours are 7:20 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. (before school) and 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (after school). Holidays and vacations follow Weymouth Public Schools. Snow days will be communicated as necessary but typically follow Weymouth Public Schools.

Tuition Rates and Fees

Tuition rates can be found in the table below. Tuition rates will be adjusted for those children who are accepted after the school year has started. Financial assistance may be available for those with demonstrated need. Please contact our principal for information about applying for financial aid on our online tuition payment system.

There is a mandatory Student Body Enrichment Fee of $125 per student, in grades Kindergarten through Eight. This fee supports success for all students, and will be used to maintain or enhance our students’ academic opportunities, experiences and learning. Elements of the student body experience that will be funded include, but are not limited to, textbooks and accompanying software, consumable workbooks, maintenance of our technology infrastructure including, but not limited to, our Student Information System, the school’s network, WiFi, computer lab, and other technology and software used by the students and faculty.


A non-refundable registration fee of $150 must be submitted with each new student's registration form.

Saint Jerome School builds community through service. The Service Requirement for the year is 10 hours per family. Parents may opt-out of the service requirement by buying out for $225. There is one required fundraising that every family MUST support. All families are required to sell one $100 raffle ticket to the $10,000 Drawing event held in the spring.

  • Five full days (8:05 am to 2:40 pm): $6,400

  • Three full days (8:05 am to 2:40 pm): $5,425 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

  • Five mornings (8:05 am to 12:00 pm): $5,750

 (4 year old program)

Pre-Kindergarten K1

  • Five full days (8:05 am to 2:40 pm): $6,400

  • Three full days (8:05 am to 2:40 pm): $5,425 (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)

  • Five mornings (8:05 am to 12:00 pm): $5,750

Kindergarten (K2) through Grade 8

  • Family with one child:  $6,000

  • Family with two children:  $10,800

  • Family with three children:  $15,350
